After hearing the voice speak to me I put down the gun and picked up a calling to reach as many lives as I possibly could and plant seeds of love and hope inside their hearts for them to grow a life of peace, love hope, meaning and purpose. I am the first life touched by this powerful movement I founded that day against all odds, broke and rejected by all around me - I listened to the powerful life changing words...

Bajito Onda’s own prison artists and writers mostly have all been in side since they themselves were abandoned or misguided teens left to survive the best way they could on the streets of America tell the tales that we hope ‘educate in a very ugly way’ the horrors inside of prison life day to day torture that we want to present to kids and others in order to at least give them positive choices to negative lifestyles.

I have never taken a single paycheck from my foundation over the past twenty or so years. - it has always come before me. Yet it has provided my basic needs and generosity of global social partners has allowed my trips and stays in Brasil, Mexico and Africa in order to understand better the needs of the peoples and cultures around the world in order to design programs to empower the excluded in society.

# 12605-077 was my own prison number 1982-1983 for a non-violent crime of helping Mexican immigrants with illegal papers. You never forget it and it never forgets you. It often haunts you in the middle of the night when you dream you are still in prison and you aren’t - or maybe you dream you are free and you aren’t.
